Mercland is a family run business and as such we treat our employees as part of our family.
Many of our staff have been with us for many years, they are all well experienced within the industry and over the years they have become Mercedes experts.
All of our family have a strong passion for our work here and particularly keeping abreast of the latest technologies & techniques.
Every day brings a new challenge and our team will always work together to ensure that we go home with more knowledge than we started with.

Position: Chief Executive
Dad started our family business, with his Brother Dave, at this site back in 1981.
Our business has mainly revolved around our garage and MOT station until Mercland was founded in 2006. Since then our garage has specialised mainly in Mercedes Benz whilst still offering servicing, MOT’s etc to all makes and models.
Dad takes care of the day to day running of the garage and our team of technicians

Position: Director
Director Jay Manek is a passionate Mercedes-Benz enthusiast and has a profound understanding of the brand.
Jay Manek is a well known enthusiast of everything Mercedes Benz related, he has been an active member of the many clubs and societies related to the marque around the world from a very young age.
Prior to founding Mercland, Jay worked at a leading Investment Bank in London for four years before deciding to convert his life long hobby of Mercedes into a full time profession.
Jay studied Accounting & Finance at the London School of Economics where he received his Batchelor of Science Degree with Honours.
Jay takes care of the running of Mercland.

Position: Partner
Janki joined Mercland in 2008 after marrying Jay.
The field is a far cry from the Law degree she worked hard for. Nevertheless Janki has quickly developed a good understanding of the brand and has learnt all about the mechanics of vehicles over the last few years.
Janki will normally be the first person you will speak to when phoning us.
Janki takes care of the day to day running of the workshop with dad (below).
Janki also takes care of general after sales support.
